About Me

Hi, 👋!

I'm Lucas Josino, a 22 y/o from Brazil 🇧🇷 and an enthusiastic Software Developer focused on Backend using Java (Spring Boot) and Golang, with knowledge in DevSecOps practices. I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (Sistemas de Informação, in Portuguese).

I have always enjoyed technology and innovations, which is why I have been immersed in this world since I was young. Eventually, I decided to fully dedicate myself and pursue a degree in this field.

I have been studying Backend & APIs developement using Java, Golang and Spring Boot through courses/bootcamps and working on some personal projects. I aim to contribute as much as possible, continually developing more knowledge in areas and technologies that I enjoy.

As I'm always trying to learn new things, I like sharing what I discover during my studies. My blog is where I experiment with new technologies and break down solutions to the challenges I run into. The goal is documenting the process and hopefully helping others figure things out too.

Beyond the Code

Alongside my passion for technology, in my free time I enjoy listening to music, reading, playing video games, and chilling with my cats.

I'm also keen on photography and cooking.

DevSecOps & Cloud Intern - Compass.uol
Internship Scholarship Program at Compass.uol in the Cloud area with a focus on AWS and DevSecOps.
Responsabilities
- Development of skills in DevSecOps principles;
- Usage of agile methodologies (Scrum) in project management;
- Exploration of security practices for applications and adoption of best standards;
- Experience with AWS using VPC, CloudFront, EC2, IAM, S3, Route 53, and Load Balancers;
- Configuration and management of Linux servers;
- Automation of workflows with CI/CD;
- Creation and maintenance of Shell and Bash scripts for automated tasks;
- Monitoring and visualization of system metrics with Prometheus and Grafana;
- Configuration and management of containers with Docker and Kubernetes.
